The Placenta
YOUR TREE OF LIFE
The organ that nourished, protected, and sustained your baby deserves to be remembered.
From the moment your baby begins to grow, the placenta becomes their lifeline - nourishing, protecting, and connecting them to you.
But its story doesn't have to end at birth.
Explore the sacred ways you can honour, preserve, and carry the placenta forward.
The placenta is often treated as something to be discarded once your baby arrives.
But for generations, women and cultures have understood that this extraordinary organ carries meaning far beyond its biological function.
It nourished your baby.
It protected your baby.
It connected you and your baby.
And it was there for every moment of their becoming.
What if we didn't treat it as waste, but as something worthy of reverence?
Download my free guide to learn how to protect and care for your placenta after birth, understand your options, and make an informed decision about what you'd like to do with it.
Your placenta can be honoured in many ways, each carrying its own meaning. Whether you choose to preserve it as medicine, transform it into art, bury it in ceremony, or simply pause to acknowledge the sacred work it did, there is no one right way. The invitation is simply to choose what feels meaningful to you and your family.

Because your birth story doesn't end when your baby is born. Your placenta was part of the story from the very beginning.
Keeping or honouring it can become a way to:
Mark the transition into motherhood
Honour the work your body accomplished
Allow it to nourish you and become a priceless nutritional addition to postpartum journey
Create a tangible connection to your baby's beginning
Preserve a physical piece of their birth story

Amy was my doula, and I can only highly recommend her. As she says herself, this is her calling — and it truly shows.
She gave me confidence in my ability to give birth naturally.
She is deeply attentive and supported me every step of the way. She gently reminds you of the importance of the sacred dimension of birth, which is truly essential.
And as a bonus, she speaks French, which reassured me greatly.

Amy has been incredible. My wife and I used her for our second, and third. She was great support for a VBAC, and then again when my wife went for a second VBA2C. She is such a calming presences, knowledgeable and knows when to ask for a pause. She was so helpful during pregnancy, and always ensured that myself and her were on the same page to support my wife the best we can. My wife had tough PP both times and having Amy support my wife alongside me was great help! Another great thing Amy is able to offer is placenta bundles of various options from art to encapsulation!
