Is it safe and hygienic to prepare the placenta at home?
Yes. When handled with proper guidelines, the process is both safe and deeply respectful. I dedicate an entire module to hygiene, preparation standards, and best practices to ensure you feel entirely confident.
Do I need any artistic experience?
Not at all. This workshop is designed for beginners and experienced creatives alike. You'll be guided step by step through the entire process, making it easy to create beautiful, meaningful keepsakes regardless of your artistic background.
Can I use a frozen placenta?
Yes! Frozen placentas work wonderfully for creating prints. I'll show you how to safely thaw, thoroughly inspect, and prepare your placenta so you can create your artwork even if some time has passed since your birth.
How soon after birth should I create my placenta art?
Fresh placentas are ideal, but don't worry if you're not ready right away. As long as your placenta has been stored safely, you can create beautiful prints from both fresh and frozen placentas.
Is this workshop only for parents?
Not at all. While many expectant and new parents take this workshop, it's also a wonderful resource for doulas, birth keepers, midwives, placenta specialists, and anyone who wants to deepen their understanding of the placenta and support families in preserving this sacred keepsake.

You'll receive a complete materials list inside the workshop with simple, accessible supplies. Most items are inexpensive and easy to source, and I'll guide you through everything you need before you begin.
